About Me
Hannah Paul
My name is Hannah Paul and I'm a student in the Visualization program at Texas A&M University. I am currently focusing on character modeling, however, I am also interested and studying look development and animation.
I am an artist who combines fascinating parts of history or the rich traditions of other cultures with the otherworldly to create an entirely new reality. The pieces I have created have been envisioned in both the two-dimensional and three-dimensional space as a result of my experimentation with various art styles and curiosity.
Artist Statement
Every project I take on begins with a question: what happens when the familiar structures of history and culture collide with something that could not exist in our world? That tension, between the researched and the imagined, is where my characters live.
I work primarily in ZBrush and Nomad Sculpt, with Marvelous Designer for cloth and Substance 3D Painter for surface storytelling. As I move toward graduation, I'm building toward a pipeline that spans sculpt, look dev, and animation, always in service of characters that feel like they belong to a world worth exploring.
